Our Cause:

We are but a drop in the ocean. Our activities are many but the issues outnumber them exponentially. We have taken it upon ourselves to set examples which either others can follow or we can use to enable teams to take up and perform in many other areas where issues exist. In order to replicate our examples and prototypes in many other areas in India, we invite people to join us in our endeavor to bring about change in our environments for the better.

The BCIL Foundation has worked with Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency in setting up India's first Energy Information Center in Gurgaon

Asia Development Bank

Mr. Hariharan and Ms. Anuradha Desikan Eswar have researched and prepared a sustainable water supply system report for Dehradun in support with ADB. Mr. Hariharan has become the only Indian water champion of the ADB, Manila, in 2006.

L&T South City Projects

BCIL Zedlabs offers green building strategies and directions for L&T South City Eden Park integrated township project in Chennai.

UN Habitat

The BCIL Foundation team headed by Ms. Anuradha Desikan Eswar and Dr. Shashi Kad researched and authored a book title Urban Energy Source Book to be used by urban energy planners in Asia

Partnered with A&D to undertake the promotion of sustainable architectural practices in India which has been granted by ADEME
